There are several things that strike me about this team on offense that have improved A LOT:
    1) The guards don't stand out front and pound the ball near as much waiting for something to happen.
    2) The spacing on the floor is much better on offense.
    3) The offense is much better at finishing possessions.
    4) Everyone who plays significant minutes is a legit threat to score virtually anytime in every possession (except Evan).

Defense and rebounding are improved at every position except Carl by himself accounted for a high percentage of the boards by the 3-headed monster (when he wasn't in foul trouble or injured). Orukpe was a more effective eraser, although almost a non-factor on offense.

These are just "eye-test" observations. Nothinig analytical or stats-based.
    Basketball Season Tix since '77-78 . . . . . . Baseball Season Tix since '88

This year Baker would have dunked that ball.

I went ahead and rewatched the Wichita State and Gonzaga game. Doug Gottlieb actually gave Wichita State a lot of praise. I guess he just doesn't like high seeded non-BCS teams. In this case, it was Gonzaga. Now it's us.
