    7386.

If my tally is correct, that is how many men's basketball teams have played an NCAA Division 1 season since UNLV entered the 1991 NCAA tournament unbeaten. And only 1 of them has also entered the NCAA tournament unbeaten. We all know who that is.

At this point in time, if people insist on hating on the Shockers, they'll keep hating on the Shockers. There's no changing their minds, and quite frankly I'm perfectly fine with that. But this is a number that should be tossed right back at them. 7386. Say what you will about WSU's schedule this year. But if what they have already accomplished this season is something that can be scoffed at or written off as simply playing a weak schedule, then maybe, just maybe, at least one of the other 7385 teams in this span could have also accomplished this as well. Regardless of perceived strength or weakness of schedule.

No matter what happens from here on out, this season will stay with us forever. But it's far from over. With the Shockers playing how they are capable of, who knows what the coming weeks could possibly hold.

And if you feel the need to keep blindly hating, go right ahead. But there's a pretty good chance that "The Shockers gonna shock you again"!!

Mike DeCourcey of the Sporting News published an article based on this premise a couple of weeks ago. Buried somewhere in the Media Love thread...

Alright, I hadn't found anything on here yet, but wasn't going to be the least bit surprised if it had already been talked about. I just didn't dig deep enough. So if that post needs to be moved/removed/whatever, have at it.

Like seeing it in its own thread. It deserves it.

By the way, 64-9. Final Four. Undefeated Regular season. St. Louis Tournament Championship.

That is what Wichita State has done since I moved from Wichita.

          You're welcome.

Hey you forgot about a couple preseason tournament trophies and a couple conference championships.

Oh and I think Wu Shock got laid and had a kid since you are no longer his wing man.

Well, I didn't want to steal all of @WuDrWu: thunder.

I still haven't met Wee Shock. Need to stop by next time I am up.

I've never met either one, but surely WuShock didn't get laid and have a kid by WuDrWu?
