I swear UNI is mugging SIU.

Not impressed with either team. Both of them would be WSU curbstomping victims on Sunday.

Seeing fans from every fanbase doing the Interlude is pretty cool.

Really happy for Barry, wouldn't mind seeing the Salukis on Sunday.

Too much going on to watch any of the game, just checked in occasionally on ESPN's play-by-play -- man, that looked ugly in print. Was it equally as bad to watch?

That's two today from the glorious Valley. Hopefully the national media types didn't stick around after WSU was finished.

Nice defensive adjustment by Coach Jacobsen going to the triangle and 2 to get Jackson and Beane under control.

Perhaps the key play down the stretch was when SIU overthrew a long pass to Jackson who made a very athletic baseline out-of-bounds save to Beane who took it to the hole for layup.

The announcers kind of made it sound like Jackson had made a great pass to Beane (which is the way it turned out) but on he replay you could tell Jackson had no idea where Beane was and was just trying to bounce the ball off of a UNI defender. He missed the UNI player but hit a streaking Beane right in the chest with a perfect looking bounce pass. As they say, it's often better to be lucky rather than good. In the case, Jackson was both but more lucky than good.
