Ironically, his last contract addendum from last fall had language included to the effect of "Mr. Marshall agrees not to request a renegotiation of contract until..." I don't recall the exact date, but I believe it was a ways out - like 3-5 years. That doesn't mean he won't get another bump this year, I just thought it was a weird sentence in the contract.

And the term in which HC3G2L agrees not to request renegotiation is 3 years from 09/2013.

Actually the other 1st place vote was for Paul Lusk, Missouri State...and whoever placed that vote, voted Marshall 3rd.

That one 3rd place vote came from the lone voice of reason. After all, WSU just bought a championship with the sell outs, air travel & expensive coach. Big deal, so a little tourny money goes the Valley's way. The novelty will wear off & opposing teams will quit selling out to see this dog & pony show. Besides, its not fair the Shockers hogged all the other awards.


Nah, on 2nd thought 3rd place was a pathetic waste. I can't think of a single justification for that vote.
