Somebody has to do it. EO soaks his hands in lotion and Ron Baker punches Stutz in the honker before every game. Toure heals and comes in with a chip on his shoulder. David Kyles puts in a Hatch-esque work ethic and WSU gets three in First team AA, EO JR are HM's. This season sparks WSU to a decade of domination, where KU still refuses to play WSU. But thats okay, because WSU doesn't need the state patrol boat to guide the Flagship.

I never doubted their determination and ability for even one second, and I really can't see how they won't finish the season at 40-0. No pressure...

If we win a national championship at 40-0, I would have to seriously consider never watching sports again.

A most sincere congratulations on an undefeated regular season. I am an old timer and experienced the Sycamores run in 1978-79. I don't think many realized what we had until it was over. Enjoy the ride and you know there will be at least twice the capacity of your arena swear they never missed being at a game.

Seriously, WSU could be incredible in the future, but I doubt we ever have a shot at a 40-0 season again.

31-0 is awesome for halcyon eternal optimists on prediction threads to break records right along with the Shockers winning. It's like takin candy from a baybay, baybay!!! This Shocker National record could stand the test of time until we do it again? Dunno, but even with 20/20 hind-sight vision, it still is an amazing feat. So many variables have to all go right to win 31 times in a row. We were something like 18-19 down versus the Bears in Springfield with around 11 minutes left in the 2nd half and still won in overtime. Law of averages are against not only winning that game, but going also going 31-0. We are not done yet.
