I'm not so sure about that. We shall see.

When you're standing inside a big zero in the loss column, people can fling whatever they want. It will hit the wall of that zero and fall harmlessly to the ground.

I believe they only have 3 more regular season games, which all could be reasonable thought of as losses. Besides the 2 teams you mention, St L has Dayton at home. That said, rpiforecast.com projects that they may 2. If so, their RPI projection is about 16-17. If they lose all 3 games, it drops to about 24. If they win all 3, the RPI would be about 10.

They may drop out of the polls, but they will still be a top 25 RPI win for the Shockers.

and then there is our buddy Miles Simon. I have no problem with an argument made for why KU should be a #1 seed over WSU. It's an opinion based on one's judgment of available evidence. However, when Miles says this about WSU: "...they didn't really challenge themselves in the non-conference season." I do have a problem with that. Because it's untrue. So here we have another person paid to be an expert yet demonstrating he is an uninformed knucklehead promoting the myth that we didn't try to schedule top teams. And if you think he misspoke, he says it again about 30 seconds later. start about 16:50 for stupidity:

Adnan Virk welcomes Miles Simon to the show. Plus, more on the NBA's consideration of a 4-point shot and whether Wichita State deserves a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Remember, this is the guy who a week ago said we would lose TWICE before the NCAA tourney in his "prediction that will make me look like a fool".

Even though there is a very low percentage chance this could still happen, he is about to prove himself to be a fool.

At least he's getting in the right stratosphere. I'd take Pangos over most of the PGs he likes to blabber about.
