  • Houston Game 31 Watch Party

@Dan: and @shocka khan:, are you guys still up for watching the game as a group on Saturday, 12:30?

If so, which location? Washington and Yale or Bunker Hill and I-10? Either is fine with me as neither is close to home.

I think Bunker Hill will be easier to get a section together.

I would prefer Washington avenue in the heights, but would consider the most convenient location for everyone, including the spring\klein area.

washington is more central but will be more crowded. I don't think it matters as long as we can get a good section. I'll invte the other local shockers that don't post here. Let's plan on Washinton.

I don't mind driving down to either location. I don't know how many people to expect, but parking would not be an option at Bunker Hill.

The bunker hill BW3 is not in City Center, it's in front of the Office Max/Marshall's strip center by Memorial High School, Between Bunker Hill and Echo Lane. Doeesn't matter anyway, we'll do it at Washington.

Good to see there are some shocker fans in Houston! I just moved here from Wichita a couple months ago so I could complete my internship with the Rockets.

Thank you man! Unfortunately I am helping my sister move right up till game time, but I would love to join you guys another time. Do you normally go to BWW for most of the games (Obviously the televised ones)?

We used to go quite often back in the Turgeon days, but I've not been in a long while. Back in the day, we would occasionally get Randy Burns, Sr. to join us for a watch party. @Dan:, did we ever get Couisnard's dad out to any?

Yeah, PJ's dad and little brother and the Burns family. Those were the days when viewing options were limited and we had to go to a sports bar

That is pretty cool! I miss watching Couisnard. Well we have a couple guys on the team with connections to Houston. Derail Green and Zach Brown next year. Maybe you could try to get a couple of their family members out to watch a game.

That's why I suggested he Spring!Klein area. If they participated, would be nice to have a party up that way. I would not want to go up to 1960 @ might. Too much trouble. I did catch the Shox @a sports at in the woodlands on the water walk. I thought that was a nice place, too. And it was fairly lose to Klein.

Well, come MVC time, maybe we can try for that. There are several places up here where we could watch the game.

I'm not familiar with any sports bars on the Waterway, but there is Goose's Acre and Baker Street Pub there.
