Now that it is done, has anyone found a statement from the Cousy Award of what impact, if any, fan voting has in the selection of either the 5 finalists or the award winner?

I trust ya, Rosewood, but this simply cannot be accurate. I've heard from the highest authorities that Fred VanVleet is the weak link on the Shocker team, is weak and cannot get to the rim and will wilt when confronted with top-flight competition.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I haven't seen anything but based on the final six and the fact that kid from West By Gawd Virginia who was steady at number two in the fan voting is no where to be seen and that should be some indication.

Is there any realistic way craft doesn't win this based on multiple seasons of achievements

Oh, probably because he isn't the best point guard this season.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I think he's maybe not top three on the list. But I think rialaigh has a point. There's just been so much hype surrounding him. I hope FVV gets that treatment for two more years.

How Juwan Staten didn't make that list.....I do not know.

I thought Craft was the least impressive of this group. His TO per game this year was the highest in his career, his A/TO was not that great, and he still hasn't gotten his 3 point shot back since his Freshman/sophomore years. Staten should have been in front of him, but maybe the committee had him on the list for his career body of work.

I'm thinking career body of work gets Craft the award this year as much as I would like to see FVV win it. All the hype with craft "best defensive player in the ncaa" and holding the records for assists and steals for OSU...

I think Shabazz will get it.
