Yogi Ferrell, the top 25 recruit from Illinois that was a year younger than Fred, got all the attention in high school. As I recall, Fred outperformed him on at least one occasion, but wasn't nearly as athletic. Yogi, now at Indiana, has 1% of the vote.Livin the dreamComment

Per the website, the winner is slected by a panel. I don't think the fan voting has anything to do with the actual selection of the winner.Comment

The site doesn't say this explicitly, but it does say that a 5 finalists are chosen in early March that are the ones that can win.
