  • Watching Shox @ Loyola in Houston

Anyone know of any hangouts in the Houston area for Shocker fans? I'll be there this week on business and would love to take in the Loyola game with fellow fans.

    Thanks!

It's pretty scattered and we don't really have "watch parties" anymore since most the games are on ESPN3. Tell me what part of town you'll be and I'll tell you the best place to watch games.

What part of town are you in? I'm in memorial, we have a HTML on my girlfriend's TV. I only need to get an HTML cable. I already own a 720p laptop that's 1080 capable with two gig video card.

If you're close to BW 8 and Mamorial, let me know on this thread. Perhaps you can come over to watch.....

I assume he means he hooks the laptop to his TV with an HDMI cable. Either way, I watch on Apple TV and am in the same area of town.

Dan, we ought to consider having a watching party at some point.

I'd be interested, please let me know.

Anyone reasonably close to BW-8 &memorial let us know. I'd definitely be up for a future watch party. Please feel free to post.

I'll be in the Greenway/Upper Kirby area, but willing to drive a bit to get to a Shocker gathering if one develops.

I'd be down for a regular season finale watch party on March 1.

You guys want to do something at BW3 at I-10 and Bunker Hill?

Dan, I assume you are talking about March 1?

As for tomorrow night, I know some ESPN3 games are also on ESPN Full Court. If that's the case here, you guys might try Nick's Place on Westheimer near Gessner. They get most sports packages and probably have Full Court.

Yes, I was talking March 1. I'll be horizontal on the couch for the Loyola game.

I'm up to watch a game anytime. March 1st sounds great to me. Why don't we set a time?

Game tips at 1pm. How does 12:30 sound? Either the BWW Dan mentioned or the one by downtown is good.

Glad I could get the ball rolling on the watch party! :-)

I'll probably just (attempt to) watch on laptop. ESPN3 should not be blacked out using wifi in Houston even if an ICT-based computer right?
