WSU VERSUS LOYOLA PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSION
These small gyms make me nervous. Shox like the big crowds. LUC's gym is as small as they come and looks like it can get rowdy when full.
Shox by 7 in a tough game
Shox - 72
LUC- 65
The last game was the first that RB appeared to be north of 90% to me since he
hurt the ankle. CE is becoming a force down low. I think he and Carter hammer
them inside with Fred, RB and TC getting the rock o them. I'll say 69-61 this time
and stay undefeated !
As crazy as it seems, Loyola is a GREAT trivia answer to the who has a national title question.
Not crazy but that was a lot of years ago. Unless you can sustain your success, you just become a flash in the pan with a lot of "I told you so" comments (which by the way is what we are facing). If Doyle can be held to within reason we shouldn't have a problem (unless of course our shooters are completely off).
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
--------------------------------------- Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare: "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said: "That's the definition of a stool sample."
First time poster---although I've lurked here for years (I'm an alum). After leaving Wichita in 1985, I am thrilled that I'm moving back with my family this summer. It's going to be great to come "home".
What a season!!!
This game vs. Loyola concerns me a bit as well. The gym is my concern and it being a first time venue for the Shocks. Loyola has been waiting for this game all year according to one of their biggest fans (a friend of mine). I think they will turn out a great crowd (big news there--isn't that what happens everywhere we go?). The Shocks can handle that. But there may be some added pressure for FVV as well. The Shocks need to jump on them quick (gee, wouldn't that be nice for a change). I don't want to see the Ramblers hanging around with 5 minutes left in the game.
