Matlab and WSU basketball doesn't go much better.

Game days, I am all excited waiting to see the game. Day after, I am tired due to being unable to sleep the night before. Other days, I have to check in here to get the info and insights on the
past and upcoming game. It's not conducive to having a job.

We have so many more threads going on than this time most years. I find if I haven't checked in over a two hour period of time there is a good chance I have to go to page 2 in order to catch up.

It's getting easier to peg the engineers in the room.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Hello, my name is Royal, and I'm a Shockaholic.

(And I have the t-shirt to prove it)

I hope we won't have a run on self employed, or independent contractors in the near future...which is a fancy way of referencing to us as unemployed.

People at work must think I have an stomach infection because I'm always jumping on the boards during bathroom breaks. My old 30 second breaks are turning into 5 minute ones. I'm in there now as I type.

When our company issued us iPads to increase productivity I'm pretty sure getting on SN 50 times a day was not what they had in mind. I suppose it's better than porn though.

I figure if I break the ice with a client talking about something discussed on ShockerNet, it's time well spent.
