Coach Marshall on Sirius 91

HCGM was just on the College Sports Today with Mark Packer, Sirius/XM 91. Another great interview with Packer slobbering all over himself giving Marshall great props for a tough, experienced and talented team. Pointed out that the program has been good for a long time, especially since Marshall took over, and that the current #4 ranking is well deserved.

Packer also brought up the "I'll Tekele You" dunk as probably the best dunk in college basketball he's ever seen and that he keeps going back to view it from time to time. It gave 3G the opportunity to talk up Mr. Cotton, something he told Packer he appreciated as Cle, Freddy and Ronnie all get more press.

Overall, another nice love fest and proof positive our beloved Shockers are making their mark.

Not gonna lie...I kinda skipped through your first paragraph and saw you talk about Packer (thinking Billy Packer). I thought, "Wow! Billy Packer is complementing us." Got that corrected in my head when I read the first paragraph better.

Yeah, sorry about that. I heard Packer when it first came on and had the same thought until I heard him start talking. All the same, another good interview with the host asking good questions and clearly better informed than some of the media we've been hearing from.

Sure did and in the same breath said he (and other teammates) were becoming household names.

I'll give them a pass though because it was an overall good interview.
