Bradley fan here, but still a MVC fan. Just watched ESPN's PTI. They did a Word segment on the Shox winning the whole thing. Both Tony Kornheiser and guest host Jason Whitlock thought they have a legitimate chance. PTI will be reaired on ESPN News with the segment shown at 5:49 CST.

I have very little nice to say about JW, but man, was he ever complimentary, "I would consider them a favorite to win the NC. They are one of the best 5 or 6 teams, so yeah, they are a favorite."
Robin Roberts: "My mother used to say, when you strut, you stumble."

I appreciate the update; while both may be good sportswriters (MAY BE) neither one has much ability to evaluate basketball talent, let alone college basketball. In this regard, despite their "Shocker Love", I see them both as nothing more than talking heads. I respect the opinions of some people posting on this page more. Whitlock may have been on campus before, but I bet K. couldn't find it on a map...

Whitlock knows more about WSU than you think. The school, not just the BB team. As a former college FB player, he ie well aware of the history of our school during and before the civil rights era and has written about Linwood Sexton, Willie Jeffries, etc, during his time in Kansas City. He doesn't write about college sports as much as the pros, but don't discount his knowledge, despite his frequent buffoonery..
Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!
