I have watched a few other college games this year (other than Shocker games) and have noticed the Shocks attack a zone much better than any other team I have watched. I don't know how good the gargles zone is but initially it was pretty active and the Shocks found the seams to the big men and they either kicked it back out if they were doubled or made the move to the basket. Seeing so much zone so far can only help the Shocks later on as the season progresses. This team is really playing at a different level right now.

I agree with not strong enough. He had a decent game as I don't call 2-7 all that good. What I
liked most was his energy level ! Needs to add at least ten pounds of muscle and match EW's
defensive ability to be a real contributor. Glad to see JRS with some PT at point. I was impressed
with his ball handling, not panicking against many attempts at double teaming him and he had
one real nice drive to the hoop. One of his TO's was a few inches away from a very good look
and assist. Still noticed RB not hitting on all cylinders. He has been tentative and awkward taking
it o the hole. He had one good drive but even then seemed to be fading away from the basket and
that is not normal for him. I KNOW what a warrior he is but he is still a wounded one from what I
am seeing. We missed a good opportunity last night to avoid regular trauma to the injured ankle.

Thought coach did a masterful job of getting the substitutes quality playing time in various roles and throughout the game. Besides the value of experience, that also helps team morale. Sure, we had the luxury but I admire how Marshall isn't afraid to substitute early and often.
Cleanthony seemed like he never really got into the flow of the game, though. He's the kind of player that seems to build his game as time goes on.

Cle and Ron's stats always take a blow when we get out way ahead early in a game. Once the lead reaches a certain level, HCGM throttles it down and tells FVV/whoever is in at PG to pound the ball for 25 seconds then create something. The offensive sets designed to get looks for our scorers rarely get used down the stretch in those contests, and we don't even think about feeding the post unless it's off the dribble drive as the shot clock winds down.
Not a criticism at all. I love those kind of comfortable wins.

Misses) and then he makes a little adjustment and shoots it less flat almost as someone has told him that or maybe he notices it himself.
