  • Free Throw Distractions

Anybody think this is a good idea when the opposition is shooting free throws?
Sure can't be any worse than what we do now.

Actually, the student section has started getting more varied and inventive in their free throw distractions. I noticed in the last game that they've added the quiet-until-right-before-release taunt to their repertoire.

I'd totally love it if they lifted this one from Illinois though:
This is one of the key freethrow distraction cheers done by the Orange Krush. It was originally used by Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau, MO, and ...

I remember how good the Utah State students were with organized chants. I now see that "I Believe That We Will Win" cheer all over now.

I actually hate that one with a passion.

probably due to my high school attempting it back in the day and being utter failures at it.

Michigan State did this recently and I liked it.

They were doing something similar. One of their football players had a celebration like that during the Rose Bowl, after they scored. That's who was at mid court leading it.

This is probably where he got the idea from originally though.

Daniel Bryan has done the yes chant for years. I think WSU should do his No chant - arm gestures included.

              YES YES YES!

Daniel Bryan chant would be a good one for free throws, definetly gets the crowd into it.
