Find someone who does have an approved internet provider - have them register for remote access from their home computer. Then get their ESPN log in info and wah-lah you can watch the games on ESPN3 by logging in to their account.

Just in case any one has a problem with this - ESPN told me how to do it.

Since i don't have cable i love games on espn3. I cut the cord a year ago and the only thing that i miss is live sports. However, i have ways around this, but the quality is not the same. I have 2 roku's and they work great for watching espn3 (i just wish i could get around those blackouts...)

Extremely glad I could help - I haven't forgotten the STL hotel last season

I hooked my PC to my TV and it was nearly unwatchable. I watch it on my macbook (my 4 year old macbook) and get perfect HD all the time.

I have one gripe on ESPN3. Here I am, on the Illinois side of St Louis. Cox doesn't even provide service within 200 miles of my home. Can I watch the game on ESPN3? Nope, blacked out.
