This is correct. ESPN3 "exclusive" games are available for anyone to watch. Games that are also being shown on one of the ESPN television channels, or even ones shown on one of the CBS or Fox Sports channels, are normally blocked if you do not have a cable subscription in addition to your internet.

I helped my sister, who has her cable and internet together in a very rural area of Kansas, and she gets ESPN3 for free as well. She was thrilled. It's too bad my Smart TV won't handle ESPN 3, but an HDMI cable or even a VGA cable and audio jack cord create a reasonable experience.

I have never had buffering issues, but did tonight a bit. It didn't last too long, just long enough to male me even crazier.

I only caught the last 4 minutes of regulation and the OT and wanted to watch the replay. Buffering problems were abundant, although it could have been a sub-standard 4G-LTE connection. That isn't normal, though. I have watched several other ESPN3 games on my phone without issues.

I would like to figure out a better solution for my mom - I will check out Chromecast and Roku. It would really be only for ESPN3. She attends home games, but these ESPN3-only roadies are a challenge for her.

On the schedule I have, it shows only @brad:ley is left with ESPN3-only coverage. @Evansville and @Indiana State don't show any TV at all. I suspect those will be picked-up on ESPN3. Is that a bad assumption?

Per goshockers.com, those two roadies you mention are on MVC TV, which should be on Fox Sports Midwest, I believe.

Watching last night via our Xbox ESPN app, we did have a couple buffering issues. At least the image quality didn't go LSD (Less than Standard Definition) like it did last time.

Ok, that's good. Thanks. I pulled the schedule off GoShokers pretty early and it must have been before the Fox games were finalized.

                  Your statement is true.

I have been denied access even though my ISP is a participating provider. My ISP is ATT.

I have suffered extensive brain damage with ATT and ESPN in trying to solve the problem. No luck so far. Very aggravating.

On the Roku I was fine except I couldn't pause. I've been able to pause other things on ESPN3 but this wouldn't go.

We streamed through AppleTV and didn't have any issues of note through Cox. We have their largest residential bandwidth package, if it matters.

There were a couple of pauses and repeats of the past ten seconds on my feed, last night, but as a whole it was way better than the last game I watched on ESPN3. I use AppleTV for it.

                          espn3

Our daughter brought over her laptop & connected it to our big screen TV. She then brought up GoShockers.com on her laptop, went to basketball, clicked on the write up for the Mo State game which was the opening screen there, & then clicked on espn3. We did not have one buffering problem the entire game & that was not the case for the previous game on espn3 which I think was the road game with SIU. In that case, there were buffering issues the entire game, but I read elsewhere that WSU was working on correcting those issues. TV coverage is a contractual thing. It looks like there are more WSU games televised this year then in the past & they have now added espn3 to the mix as well. My guess is that as the season progresses, & WSU continues to do well, some an additional game or two will be picked up an televised by a major network hat is not currently on the schedule.

My feed was so choppy on my antiquated 1st-generation equipment, after the end of the 1st half, I went to the radio only approach. Who is in charge of getting the number 6 Team in the Country, away games All on TV? No exuses allowed. Get it done please.

I had buffering and pixelation issues on the other WSU roadie I watched on ESPN3 earlier in the year. Zero problems whatsoever this time, which is weird considering the reports in this thread. If it matters I have AT&T UVerse with either a 5GB or 6GB package (not high end), and watch using an Apple TV.

Is that 5-6GB your connection speed? And is that bytes, or bits? If it's bytes, that would put your connection speed at 40-48 Gbps. That's getting into the Internet2 speeds and faster than the Google Fiber speeds.

The best package that Cox has is it's Cox Internet Ultimate with a download speed of 150Mbps.
