Anyone else headed up to Des Moines on Jan. 25th? Any suggestions on hotels? I checked the MVC website for team hotels, but couldn't find anything. Mrs. SPESA, Baby SPESA and I are going to be staying that evening as we have friends coming in from the surrounding area to meet us for dinner and possibly the game.

I will be there with our normal group and plan to hit up The West End for some pregame drinks. Hopefully we will get there around 5:00-5:30. Come and join us if you want. -

This would be a very fun year for road trips.
I was very disappointed that the Loyola road game falls on a weekday this year. I would have flown to CHI in a heartbeat if it had been a Saturday/Sunday game.
Other than the Ramblers and Bulldogs, the MVC is not a terribly road trip friendly conference. Too many podunk towns with few, if any, flights. I look forward to that changing when we switch leagues.
