  • Shocker Vision through AppleTV?

Is there anyone with Apple TV that's been able to stream from their PC? Google search had some stuff Air Parrot. Have you used this successfully with a non-Apple device?

I have used air parrot. It works fine if you have a fast PC, bought in the last two years. It is sometimes disconnects for no apparent reason, though. You have to restart the AppleTV to get it working again.

So, I signed up for Shocker Vision at the suggestion of another transplanted fan on this board. At the appointed hour last night, I turned it on and was pleasantly surprised to hear the familiar voice of Mike Kennedy. Together with the warm glow of a packed Roundhouse, it was like I had been transported back in time at the click of a button. Player names that I had known only through dry box scores were right there in the flesh!

The timeouts were almost as entertaining as the game itself - a bewildering combination of the video of one local Wichita advertiser, the audio of another, and the voiceover of the announcers with some, uh, interesting "off the record" commentary.

At any rate, thanks for pointing me in the right direction and now this transplanted Shocker fan has some new, yet nostalgic, entertainment to look forward to this winter.

many of the away games are televised on ESPN3 for free - you should be able to access that through your computer (may require some registration) or through a device like Apple TV, Roku, etc., if you have it. It's so much easier to keep up these days.
