  • Stat comparison last three teams

From StatSheet.com, I've highlighted the best entry for each category. This compares the first 14 games of this season with the enitre 2012-13 and 2011-12 seasons.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

That's weird. Statsheet has the possessions per game for this years' team wrong. 77.7 points per game divided by 71.5 possessions per game does not equal 1.17 points per possession. Kenpom has the team playing at 66 possessions per game which makes all the other numbers add up. Since all the other numbers add up they have it right somewhere in their database. I don't know why it doesn't show up right in the table.

I remember when Coach Turgeon said there is more than one way to count possessions. "We count possessions....." Then he described how he counted possessions. At the time, I thought it was interesting and curious.
