Hopefully, the Shocks rediscover their Play Angry defense for this game. Need to take it personally whenever UNI scores.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Baker played more minutes than anyone on a sore ankle. In pregame talk it was revealed that he and the
trainer both acknowledged it was bothering him and he had his second straight sub par performance ( for him ).
Am I the only one that believes we should take our chances without him long enough for it to heal up?
We DON'T need him to secure a tournament bid but we WILL need him healthy to get past the second
round !

My biggest concern with the ankle is not so much the defense or the cutting, but rather with his shooting. Anyone who has played competitively with a moderately severe ankle sprain knows that your shooting rhythm completely changes with a hurt ankle. Instead of jumping equally off of both feet you tend to put most of your weight during your jump shot on one leg. Disrupts everything. The mountains are calling, and I must go.

If it still seems to be affecting his performance and shooting following the Jan 11 game at MSU I'd like to see them
sit him until Feb 05 at ISU. Remember, he sat all the MVC schedule last season and returned healthy for our
tournament run. During that span of over three weeks we have six games of which four should be easy wins
without him. Possible losses would be at Drake and Indiana State but only possible losses. I'd rather we rest
him over three weeks and take our chances with those two games. Worked well last year !

If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a Creighton fan, I think I'd shoot the Creighton fan twice.
