  • Tracking RealTime RPI,Team Power and Projected Rankings

I plan to track and post these on a daily basis (excluding sickness and travel), so I started a new thread.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I believe the general consensus from the other thread was that it wouldn't because the opponents were not yet full Division 1 members anyway. Even if they had played the games it wouldn't have affected RPI. It's probably way too early in the morning for me to be using my brain and trying to reply intelligently.

Actually, I think they are D1 for RPI purposes but not re: the NCAA's scheduling standards (consistent, right?) since they are transitional. Not 100% sure though since the NCAA hasn't released an official RPI update yet this season, but all of the replication sites are including those teams in their calculations.

It still probably will not affect our RPI though. The NCAA has said they will show the results of the games as "cancelled" rather than "forfeited," with the Southland factoring the games in as losses for conference rankings and tournament seeding.

                            Pretty weird deal.

For all we gripe about the MVC, at least we aren't bringing schools like Incarnet Word into the conference.
