I may be the only fan, who worries about the lack of bench scoring.
During the shoot around, Evan was putting up 3 balls from the northeast corner. He was drilling them one right after another. He would have 5-7 makes in a row, before he missed. During the game, his first field goal attempt was from the northeast corner. The shot did not even resemble the shots that he was putting up, during the shoot around. It looked like it was shot out of a cannon. There has to be something going on in his head. I had a good view because I sit on row 8 in the northeast corner.
Also, Nick shot very well, during the shoot around. While he was only 1-3 from 3 last night, I hope it helps him to get back on track. We really need more points from him.
I am not sure of the time period, but Cle was on #14 for a period of time in the first half. At the time, it seemed to me that Cle's length bothered #14 and he was reluctant to put up any 3 balls. I do not know what my point is in this paragraph.
If Darius is only 6-7, what is going to happen, when he goes up again 6-10 to 7-0 opponents in the Big Dance. Just wondering."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

I did get some entertainment when NCCU's coach was jaw-jacking the ref over a call, several feet into the court during an active clock, and Baker made a point of running through the 3 or 4 feet of space between the coach and the ref. That was awesome.

Not sure if this was posted elsewhere or not but it was a great quote from FVV.
"The answer was simple and came without hesitation. When Wichita State point guard Fred VanVleet was asked what makes North Carolina Central'sJeremy Ingram so difficult to guard, VanVleet needed only two words.
"The rules," he responded."
The second half was a bit frustrating to watch but we're talking about another double digit win and I'll take it. One game at a time!

Baker gave the coach a big pat on the back when he did that...classic. There was little doubt WSU got the home whistle. In fact on more than one occasion it was a horrible call against NCCU, real headscratching stuff.
Nick needs to take a crash course from Baker on how to get a jump shot off in less than a minute.

B: Coleby and/or Lufile step up.
C: Carter uses his quickness to get them in serious foul trouble.
I think all are reasonable guesses.Shocker Nation, NYC

Hasn't Darius already faced much bigger players and didn't he do just fine? I know TN had the two big guys. I am not remember the other.
Somehow Carl Hall (who wasn't really 6'8") managed. And, as already posted he's got a long wing span. And he appears to be much quicker than tother folks down low.
