Nice visual, keep that train rollin down the line...
For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.

I don't really think we've run too many opponents. At least for 40 minutes.

Right after "put it in the deep-freeze" we need. "And the train keeps rollin' . . . clean up on Track 2014!"

I personally prefer loaded coal trains. There will be no doubt about that outcome. 25K tons don't stop Rollin' very fast.

Another stupid bleacher report article. Last time I checked, halftime score doesn't go into the record book. Is that really all they can come up with? Half-time deficits? I might have suggested consistent depth or three point percentage as concerns.

                  Not worth your time.

Actually IMO they have a point. If the slow start (either tied or just a point or two down at half) continues even against tourney teams, we may be okay. But if you let a really good team get a big lead on you at half, you spend most of your time and energy trying to climb out of the hole. Why not just NOT GET INTO THE HOLE in the first place. Why give half your fan base an anxiety attack. I want to enjoy all the game, not just the second half (and if that half is close, i.e. Alabama) I will only enjoy the outcome of the game and will have to wait a day to re-watch and actually enjoy the entire game (knowing the outcome). And I don't think Marshall is unconcerned about this aspect of the Shockers.

Last two lines of the artice:

If this problem is corrected by March, the Shockers are going back to the Final Four. If not, they'll have done to them what they did to Gonzaga in last season's tournament.

                          tsk tsk

actually, at some point, an opponent, NO MATTER WHO IT IS, MIGHT EVEN BE IN MARCH, is going to get 40 minutes of defense+play angry offense+great composure.

Can't say I see the results of much research, other than the field goal thing. And it's not like the Shocks have had to overcome any double-digit deficits. Behind by a few points. BFD. Mohammad Ali called it the ropa-dope. ;-)

I'm pretty sure a month ago after game 4 I asked the same question about the first half and what was going on and SN decided to crucify me. Saying it's too early to be so over-analytical.... well 7 games later... still the same problem. let's get it figured out folks, yes louisville was the best team in the nation in the second half last year and eventually won the national championship, and yes i understand history sometimes repeats itself. But playing 40 minutes of defense and 20 minutes of offense is not going to carry us alllllll the way to march, maybe february... but not march.
