People can say all they want about "only beat Bama by 5," but that was double the point spread of 2.5.
Even after the update through last night's games, the Sagarin Predictor still shows WSU -2.5 at Alabama."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

TC more game time at the position and a look at Simon there too. Most importantly though is a healthy RB !

Wessell with some really nice minutes last night. He's tough as nails and he seemed more confident/comfortable than any other game so far.
It looks like Carter is leaving Hank McCoy in the past. That rebound and follow at the end of the game was beast mode.
Cle busted out in a big, efficient way. The best news is that he still has room to improve and is working hard to do just that.
Tekele Cotton.

Even with the dumb turnovers, Cle' still had one of the best games by a Shocker this year. Tonight was his turn to carry the team. Between Ron, Fred, Tekele, Carter and Early it feels like there's a new hero every night.
Baker, Early and Van Vleet sat in the first half with foul trouble and Releford had his best game of the season. Not many teams could have beaten Alabama under those circumstances.

Pie N Eye noted Wessell played some pretty good minutes tonight. I also thought he had a good journeymans effort especially on the defensive end. He doesn't hurt us by turning the ball over and I really do think its only a matter of time before he gets comfortable and settles into the player we know he is. Have I ever said how much I HATE these types of games. Love them Shocks.

I have been impressed with how much bigger than his size Evan plays. He does a good job defensively and is an animal for balls off the bank board and loose balls. He is definitely in the mold of TC. Hard nosed and determined. I just wish his game would come around on the offensive end. I'm feeling really good about milking last year's hand injury for another year of eligibility. Good move coach!
