Did anyone else see McRae say something to our bench after hitting a shot early in the first half? I think that's why he got T'd up after the dunk - refs missed the first one.

You want to like a guy who can play like him...
I don't really even care that he didn't say anything about our game and seemed to try to downplay any comments about what we did.
What seems so odd to me is just how unprofessional and lazy his demeanor was. I mean, those were his guys interviewing him, right? I get being down about a loss so maybe I should assume that's all that was going on. Maybe they all just got ripped by Gonzo a minute before.
Oh well. Congratulations on backing up stereotypes with that awesome interview performance.

An interview after a loss (and as he said the game meant a lot to them) is tough. I'm not sure he is a great interview at any time (I haven't seen any other interviews), but most assuredly not after a loss. Did he not see the camera there and know that every negative move of his head, rolling of his eyes and locking his arms around his body was going to be recorded? Of course the loss had nothing to do with how WSU played them or anything WSU did to cause them to not get the ball inside -- Tennessee just needs to move around more. A loss is a loss -- it's not the end of the world. I just hope when our first loss comes, whomever is interviewed will do so with a little more aplomb.
