bravo. that's marshall coaching in a nutshell. wichita state DOES NOT get blown out, even when they have a sub-par night/day of basketball. they are always in the game, no matter what.. like last year at tennesse, vol fans.

Someone explain to me why that Tennessee board is having a full-blown nervous breakdown. That team is likely to be pretty damn good. They lost to a top ten team on the road, and they act like they lost to UMKC.

Not a knock against this team, but Van Vleet and Early are still a bit soft. Now, I don't mean that they play scared or that they aren't strong, but physical defenders tend to take them out of their game a bit. Two of my favorite guys and they still look like all MVC guys even when they have bad games, but just something to nitpick when we're 10-0.

What a great game, a great atmosphere, a great day... I'm sorry for those who missed it, but I'm not sorry for those who chose to miss it. Sucks to be you. You missed Wichita State history today.

This team has the balls the size of grapefruits. Just pure toughness. Outrebounded a physical sec team. Some guys had a coming out party and one guys was just a STUD.


Thanks to Cuonzo for having some guts and playing here. Definitely was a win-win for them.
