Yep. It's amazing that UK even won that game. Even more amazing was getting lucky and beating Louisville two weeks prior.

    • Mark it down. UT will beat Umass bad and will play Duke tight.

I certainly wouldn't complain. These First Four games can certainly help teams get warmed up a bit (VCU, USF, La Salle) so it wouldn't completely surprise me.

Well the Key to beating UK, IMO, is controlling the Harrison twins. Get them frustrated and flustered and you can't like UK's chances against anybody considering that's 40% of their starting line-up.

I bring that up because the Harrison twins played really, really well in both of those games.

Likewise UK could get Cle frustrated.

Our BPI is already #3 in the nation. Does that help UK. A lot of good that did for our seeding. Lmao.

I absolutely agree with your assessment. It's much easier frustrating 18 year old frosh. Though they looked like they grew up a bit in the tourney. WSU has that leadership advantage. Gotta win the game ahead Friday first.

Fred did it once before. He ain't scared! He can do it again....

VanVleet's upgrade started with weights. He added enough muscle to boost his bench press around 20 pounds, up to 230, over the summer. In Cornell's judgment, VanVleet (5-11, 175) outplayed Indiana commit Yogi Ferrell and Houston's Andrew Harrison, ranked No. 4 in the class of 2013 in ESPNU's Super 60.

                      • What's interesting is, I think the SEC is now 6-0 in postseason play. I think that would help WSU RPI as asked, not just counting the win over Iowa tonight.

Yeah. Not bad since everyone was ripping the SEC as being "weak". Winning is the best way to "flip off" the critics.

Kind of what I am hoping the Shocks continue to do!!!

The Shocks will be fine. I'm out guys. Heading to St Louie tomorrow. Hope to make a few posts and even talk to some fans of yours. The Shock fans are the most rabid and energetic folks around so I'm told. It'll be fun.

Just remember to NOT leave your feet when guarding Hancock! He'll jump into you and draw the foul.

Just so you know, my comment about the RPI was a joke. During the season we were concerned about our RPI since it mattered, but it doesn't really matter anymore. :)

I agree. I would rather win the games for the W rather than lose and say "well, it still helped our SOS."
