  • Another friendly reminder:

Bama beating Arkansas will allow Tennessee to pass Arkansas and take 4th in the SEC. If LSU can take care of Georgia at home, Tennessee takes 3rd just one game behind mighty Kentucky.

At this point it's safe to say Tennessee was not a let down this year. They will crack the dance at large today probably

Here is some fun I just figured out to see who my Kentucky team might be playing in the tourney....

If Tennessee wins and Georgia loses and Arkansas loses and A&M loses

        2 Kentucky 12-6
        3 Tennessee 11-7 (1-0 vs Georgia)
        4 Georgia 11-7 (0-1 vs Georgia)
        5 Arkansas 10-8 (1-1 vs LSU, 2-0 vs UK)
        6 LSU 10-8 (1-1 vs Ark, 1-1 vs UK)
        7 Ole Miss 9-9 (1-0 vs Missouri)
        8 Missouri 9-9 (0-1 vs Ole Miss)
        9 Texas A&M 8-10
        10 Alabama 7-11 (1-0 vs Vandy)
        11 Vandy 7-11 (0-1 vs Alabama)

If Tennessee wins and Georgia loses and Arkansas losses and A&M wins I think it goes like this

        2 Kentucky 12-6
        3 Tennessee 11-7 (1-0 vs Georgia)
        4 Georgia 11-7 (0-1 vs Georgia)
        5 Arkansas 10-8 (1-1 vs LSU, 2-0 vs UK)
        6 LSU 10-8 (1-1 vs Ark, 1-1 vs UK)
        7 Texas A&M 9-9 (1-1 vs Ole Miss/Missouri, 2-0 vs Tenn)
        8 Ole Miss 9-9 (1-1 vs A&M/Missouri, 0-1 vs Tenn, 1-0 vs Missouri)
        9 Missouri 9-9 (1-1 vs A&M/Ole Miss, 0-2 vs Tenn, 0-1 vs Missouri)
        10 Alabama 7-11 (1-0 vs Vandy)
        11 Vandy (0-1 vs Alabama)

If Tennessee wins and Georgia wins and Arkansas loses and A&M loses

        2 Kentucky 12-6 (1-0 vs Georgia)
        3 Georgia 12-6 (0-1 vs UK)
        4 Tennessee 11-7
        5 Arkansas 10-8
        6 Ole Miss 9-9 (2-0 vs LSU/Missouri)
        7 LSU 9-9 (1-1 vs Ole Miss/Missouri)
        8 Missouri 9-9 (0-2 vs Ole Miss/LSU)
        9 Texas A&M 8-10
        10 Alabama 7-11 (1-0 vs Vandy)
        11 Vandy 7-11 (0-1 vs Alabama)

If Tennessee wins and Georgia wins and Arkansas losses and A&M wins I think it goes like this

        2 Kentucky 12-6 (1-0 vs Georgia)
        3 Georgia 12-6 (0-1 vs UK)
        4 Tennessee 11-7
        5 Arkansas 10-8
        6 Ole Miss 9-9 (2-1 vs LSU/Missouri/A&M)
        7 LSU 9-9 (2-2 vs Ole Miss/Missouri/A&M, 1-1 vs A&M, 1-3 vs UK/Georgia)
        8 Texas A&M 9-9 (2-2 vs Ole Miss/Missouri/LSU, 1-1 vs LSU, 0-2 vs UK/Georgia)
        9 Missouri 9-9 (1-2 vs Ole Miss/LSU/A&M)
        10 Alabama 7-11 (1-0 vs Vandy)
        11 Vandy 7-11 (0-1 vs Alabama)

Come on now! Do you really think one more five star player would make a difference.

Maybe instead of more five star players, what you need is a real Coach.

                    • Good quality loss for Arizona.

                      Solid 1 seed with KU.

                      • Other than Florida destroying Kentucky, its been a great day.

On the other hand, I am perfectly happy with Florida where they are. That's gonna be a nice national championship game :)

                        • BYU up 43-33 at halftime. They can probably secure a bid with a win today, definitely if they win this one and win again tomorrow against San Francisco.

Obviously other than their ranking and what a loss for them would mean, I've never really had anything against Florida. And seeing Kentucky lose always makes me smile. Sorry, Henry
