Just to be clear, I do think that the ACC is the best conference this year. However, I think it's unfair to speculate or downgrade WSU because of conference comparisons out of their control.

They absolutely can. They are good enough, and have a history of road success. But that doesn't make it easy, or even likely.

Just noticed that there's a 4-way tie for 2nd place in the Big 12. And in the SEC, only 5 of the 14 teams (36%) are above .500 in conference play. I know the MVC finished with only 30%, but for a major conference that is pretty sad.
