If we lose to EU, then I expect us to drop to 8 or 9 in the polls. The media is foaming at the mouth for us to lose so they can say, we told you so. The sad thing is, they would be right. Every team that has been ranked in the top 5 at one time or another have all lost to top 50 RPI teams. If we lose to second to last place EU who has a 231 RPI, then we don't deserve a one seed or respect by the poll voters to think we'd only drop down a few spots. Don't give me how tough it is to win in the Valley argument, if we're so damn good, then teams like EU or the rest of our valley schedule shouldn't pose any problem for us. Go Shox!

I'm saying this just because it would make me the angriest. And because of that, it's also most likely to occur.

The sad thing is, I would finally be right after being wrong pretty much all season (I know I recently finally got on board). Every team that has been ranked in the top 5 at one time or another have all lost to top 50 RPI teams. We must lose to a top 50 team to validate our existence. We've NEVER deserved a one seed (or even a 2) and never will Don't give me how tough it is to win in the Valley argument, if we're so damn good, then teams like EU or the rest of our valley schedule shouldn't pose any problem for us. Listen to me! I'm going to look brilliant when we finally, THANKFULLY, lose and I can again enjoy my time on phog.net. Go Hawx!

only 4 pages and 506 posts shy of "Any news on Orupke" thread"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:

@ShockerFever: the officials in this Memphis UCONN game are going to the monitor with 10 seconds to go to see who it was off of.
That's the type of us that is ruining college basketball. You are correct. The mountains are calling, and I must go.
