Allowing Ennis to run like that was a huge advantage. Who knows what Syracuse would've done if they didn't have a timeout, they might've launched a horrible pass into coverage.

Don't knock the cancellations in the southeast. They got something like 1/2" to 1n inch of freezing rain. EVERYTHING is covered with a thick layer of ice. Roads re ice rinks, power lines are down, trees are falling over and/or breaking. It's pretty muich a disaster situation out there.

How in the world can they not go 10 miles? Leave an hour early and you should make it fine. This has to be one of the most unusual cancellations ever.

If this was anyone but Duke, I would imagine that they'd have played it as all you need are two teams and three refs. For a game like Duke, I'm sure Roy would want as big a crowd as possible.

After having a 25 point lead with 11:54 to go, Evansville has let Illinois State cut it to 9 with 3:26 remaining.

Blowing all of a 25 point lead with 12 minutes left is not an insignificant, albeit negative, accomplishment. So can we confirm at this point that Evansville is NOT a second half team? (Actually, in Wichita they weren't even a second half of the first half team.) Still, let's hope the Shocks refocus and don't need second half heroics -- just solid play.

The most amazing thing about blowing their lead (which was 21 at the half) is that they scored very well in the second half (40 points). They conceded 61 points to Illinois State in the second half. In half of our games this year we have allowed 61 or less for the entire game.
