I do like the piece MVJ brought over here, saying Creighton players followed us and was wishing us luck. That was kinda cool. But their fans are pondsCUm. I don't believe for a second that actual sCUm fans, not the Nebraska fans that MVJ was likely talking to, are cheering for us. They are envious, jealous, and pieces of ****. We are stealing their thunder in the MVC in a time they were supposed to steal the show in their new conference. It has to suck.

I'd say a good majority of Creighton fans are good people. I actually had some pleasant conversations with some of them in the Lou. So I believe the fact that some of them root for us and wish us well.

I heard there was some discussion between Gus Johnson And Raftery on whether or not WSU was deserving of a 1-seed. Anybody catch this?

Rafferty said we should be a 1 seed, the Johnson paused and stated it was above his paygrade.

I have no reason to root against a team that isn't our rival that we're ranked higher than. And I like McDermott's game a lot now that he plays acceptable defense.

I do cheer for every ranked team in the country other than WSU to lose, though. So I'm happy with that upset. Still hope they can take the Big East, and I'll definitely be watching the game with Villanova ... and hopefully the higher ranked Villanova gets drilled again.

Wish it was Syracuse or Arizona that lost instead, though.

I turned over to FS1 to watch the end of the CU-SJ game, seeing from here it was a close one. Lil' ShockBand comes up from the basement (this after hearing him, at all of 6.8 years of age, whilst playing NBA 2K14 holler "Ray Allen what are you doing? Idiot!") takes about a two second look at the game, and immediately shouts "Go St. John's!"

Creighton always seems to lose a couple of games around this time that they should win. I kind of think the cause is the amount of minutes their coach plays the starters. If you look at the box score - the bench minutes in the St. John's game was negligible.

Like I said earlier in the thread, CU losing helps SLU advance in the polls, which is good for us. Otherwise, I agree.

I think this video pretty much ends the whole "racial slur" thing. Not shocked on that card being played in the first place. But my question is, how and why was that even brought up? By OSU fans to defend Smart? To try and interject unnecessary racial tensions in this country?

I think a lot of people initially assumed it had to be something that extreme for a player to react like that. Except it wasn't, and Smart is just a dirtbag who overreacted to the smallest provocation by charging into the stands and attacking a fan.
