Sean Miller said in postgame UA may have lost Brandon Ashley for the year. He may have broken his foot.

Second leading scorer out would be a huge loss

The problem is voters that follow Katz's model and have Arizona jumped by Florida, but not by us.

        • If we end the season undefeated, we will NOT be #1.

          Book it.

Long way to go. For us and for the rest of the Top 10 teams. Just keep winning and everything else will take care of itself.

                • Arizona has put up 65, 60, and 58 points against the stifling defenses of Utah, Stanford, and Cal respectively in the last 3 games.

                  Screams #2 to me.

                      • Nice to see ever-weird BYU add a win, as well as their former opponent Texas. I suspect the outcome of the game between those two might be different if they met again now. If Texas doesn't peak too soon and can keep playing the way they are now, they'll be a vetry tough out in the tournament come March.

Meanwhile, Rick Barnes is being reminded of what Gregg Marshall has known all along, which is that a bunch of 5-star one or two year guys auditioning for the pros isn't necessarily better than having a bunch of somewhat less acclaimed, but coachable and team-first players instead. Interestingly (and just as Alabama football is about to sign the top recruiting class in the country yet again), AJ McCarron made a similar point recently about the sense of entitlement he sees in some of the superman football recruits who come to Bama, and the damaging effect it can have on attitudes and dedication even with players who know they can't turn pro after a year the way hoopsters can. In Marshall we trust.

After the last couple year HCRB needs to get some big wins. They are having a nice run right now.

When ESPN covered the scores, every mention seemed to start with Shocks "trailing" by 15, "struggled early", and concluded with remain unbeaten. NBC Sports mentioned WSU as continuing to roll and easily won.

                              • funny that we "struggled" with evansville, but never trailed in the 2nd half and was up by double digits most of the 2nd half. I guess that what you consider "struggled"
