It will also be interesting to see if any of the 65 voters vote WSU #1. Will Syracuse get all 65 first place votes? It could be an interesting poll this Monday.

I'm thinking the same thing. While I expect Syracuse to be the obvious number 1 because they've earned it, the spotlight is going to get even brighter now.
I am also interested to see just how many voters will want to go ahead and put the two undefeated teams and 1 and 2 permanently until one loses. You can argue either way about WSU vs Florida so it will be interesting

It definitely helps that Arizona list to unranked Cal as opposed to another top 10 or 25 team. It will hurt just enough to knock them down past 5 and clear space for us to move up.

I don't see them falling that far. Not sure they will fall lower than #2. #3 Florida already has 2 losses. I do think it opens up some room for the voters that like us to start giving us votes a line higher than they have been.

In seriousness, you know people will look for any excuse to ignore Duke's losses and rocket them up for any good win, so I didn't really mind them losing a road game, but wouldn't mind Syracuse losing on the road to Duke and Virginia.

Yeah they failed to mention that Florida has lost twice but somehow beating a team by 14 that was never closer than about 6 points the entire second half (and that was early in the half) is somehow worse than a LOSS.

I don't think Arizona drops below SDSU, because they beat SDSU.

Another way to look at it is SDSU won't jump us for the same reason.

SDSU losing to Arizona and beating KU puts everyone in a nice predicament that benefits WSU

The espn Sports center guys just said they expect Syracuse to move to #1, Fl to #2 and Arizona #3. They specifically said that since WSU struggled with Evansville today that Arizona wouldn't drop below WSU.

So games are now judged by how they look in the first 10 minutes?

i'm pretty sure EU would have been up by 15 on Arizona or Syracuse if they shot 100% from the field in the first 10 minutes. Efftards.

I think it's certainly possible we jump Florida. It just takes one of the 8-9-10 tools to cave to give us a decent boost. Florida doesn't have that "luxury." I expect to see WSU, Zona, and Florida to be very close come Monday, any order wouldn't surprise me.

It seems that every time I see a BYU game or look at one of their box scores, there has been a technical foul assessed.
