The results in the Top 10 today show that it is very hard to win all of your games. Even if you have a better team than your opponent.

It definitely helps that Arizona list to unranked Cal as opposed to another top 10 or 25 team. It will hurt just enough to knock them down past 5 and clear space for us to move up.
I bet if they had lost to Syracuse or Florida we would stay behind them

Interestingly, KU is managing to validate the UNI fan theory of resume building, i.e. losing a bunch to good teams makes you a contender.

I'm not convinced I really wanted Duke to pick up a road win at Syracuse for their resume (you know that a borderline resume gives Duke a 1 seed), but I'd be happy to see them knock of SU in the return game.

How hard is it to win at Syracuse??

If you are .500 against Top 25 teams (their current record, using the RPI) you have done a pretty good job of proving that you are a Top 25 team, not a Top 5 team.

It will also be interesting to see if any of the 65 voters vote WSU #1. Will Syracuse get all 65 first place votes? It could be an interesting poll this Monday. The best bet would be Jason Franchuk. He has Zona 1, WSU 2 and Syracuse 3 last week.

The espn Sports center guys just said they expect Syracuse to move to #1, Fl to #2 and Arizona #3. They specifically said that since WSU struggled with Evansville today that Arizona wouldn't drop below WSU.
