While I'm not sure a 3 or 5 seed is the abyss (many here would have loved a guarantee of that at the beginning of the season), with little help from other teams around us, I think 1 loss is probably a 2 seed, 2 losses a 4. If others around us have difficulties, both of those could improve. I know seedings and RPI rankings are not connected to each other that close, but I believe rpiforecast.com would still have us about 10-12 if we end up with 2 losses.

There are now no other Valley teams in the top 50 and only 2 teams in the top 100. We really need Indy St, Miss. St, UNI and Illinois St to win their remaining games (except against us) otherwise our resume is not going to be very strong looking on selection Sunday. If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

I am not that concerned with our resume at this point because as long as we don’t drop more than 2 games I believe we will be a top 3 seed which I am fine with. One nice thing about ISUb losing to SIU is that even with a loss at ISUb we can avoid the co-champ bs. Can you imagine sharing a championship with ISUb in a year like this? The press and coaches buy in, again, making them pre-season #1. I couldn't be happier that Calamari and his Blow Bloods are underperforming expectations. I just hope they continue to play like their "overrated".Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!
