:) But the Big 12 is so good and will surely get 6 or 7 teams in.

This is perhaps the dumbest cheer of all-time. And it is my belief that fans at a game should never do it, as it devalues the win your team is getting.

That being said, if ever there was a team deserving of that chant, it is Kentucky. I imagine hearing "40-0" since last January probably irked some of the SEC fans.

I haven't said it since they got the wookie. Next year looks to be a special kind of suck for them though. Especially if daddy Wookie leaves.

Harrison Twins are bad! I mean, who is the guy that anointed them? I find it odd that there are always 4 white dudes on the end of Kentuckys bench with warmups on. Every game. Every year. Are they managers? Don't know. Cheerleaders?

I'm sure they will be down some, but with who they have signed/redshirting/returning, they are in good shape.

              LOL, of course they are.

Seriously, what's your affiliation with Wichita State? That your kid wasn't recruited by WSU? Anything else?

I think the board you should be more active at is further north.

              ... No really, deuces.

As a guy from Omaha, who likes both Wichita State and Creighton, I will attest to the earlier statement from Mr Obvious that Creighton's future rests in the hands of their red shirts. I think theier entire incoming class redshirted this year. From the little I've heard, these guys are really good and the future isnt with the guys at the end of the bench getting mop up minutes. Creighton also has a couple of highly touted recruits, plus another skilled juco coming in next year. I dont put a whole lot of stock in recruiting, but these are the rumblings I've heard. Creighton may suck next year, they may not, who cares. I only give this info so that maybe Mr Obvious and fever can end their petty fued.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

                • I'm definitely not expecting it, but wins by Stanford and Iowa State would definitely make for a good night tonight.

How were McDermott's recruiting classes at Iowa State (I'm really asking, I have no idea)? I've never been impressed with him as a coach and the last 4 years have been entirely dependent on one player and from what I remember of him at UNI, it was the same thing there.

Just by what little I've read, 2 of 5 from this year's class are playing, Hanson (freshman) and Brooks (JUCO). Using Scout rankings, Hanson was not rated and 2 other freshmen, Harris (2 star, 67 rating) and Hegner (3 star, 74 rating) appear to have RS. Don't know the status of the other JUCO player.

Their 2014 class has Gilmore (4 star, 80 rating) and Harrell (3 star, 75 rating). Didn't see another JUCO listed...on ESPN/Scout anyway.

For a little comparison, WSU's Brown and Kelly are 3 stars with 79 ratings.

I just love how Mr Obvious rises from the ashes every time his BJs are slighted. He needs to realize where he is and if he doesn't like it, he's more than welcome to ship out.

Go ahead and look at his post history. He adds nothing to the table other than quick sCUm shoutouts. He'll actually throw in something WSU-related every now and then just to make it appear as if he's interested in WSU.

Do you have Hamilton's and Henderson's ratings handy?

Thanks for the info Shocktalk. They will be fine.

I didn't find a rating for those 2 on ESPN. But they are both 3 star recruits on Rivals and Scout.

If you think that losing 4 starters and relying primarily on guys who have never played a minute of D1 ball isn't concerning, you are being delusional.

Is it possible that next year could work out ok? Maybe, but we've seen some Kentucky teams struggle with this situation and that is with top 25 recruits coming in. No matter how good you think the CU recruits are, they aren't anywhere in that ballpark.

If you want to make the claim that CU will be fine over the long run with the talent that is coming in, fine, but expressing no concern about next year is nuts.
