Unfortunately the game @Gonzaga has now become a must win game for them and they are bound to be tired on Saturday after playing a 3OT game tonight. Things couldn't have worked out worse for them tonight.

If they do it for every win at Portland, I would love to see video of all 1,013 fans at the Chiles Center rushing the court following their Dec 1st win over Southern Utah.

BYU really lost to this team... And to Pepperdine... And to Loyola Marymount... Well... Maybe Alabama will win out...

Not to pad the numbers, but at this rate by the end of the season -- especially if the Shocks keep playing as long as we hope -- this thread stands a fighting chance of overtaking the Legend of Orukpe in length.

The Pac-12 = The MVC but with 3 or 4 times the money. That conference is seriously an embarrassment. People keep talking about our weak conference schedule, but Arizona has it pretty darn easy from here on out, IMO. They only have two quality victories this year (Michigan and Duke) and I think we'd be fine against both of those squads.

I think the point is he said "Pac-12 = MVC". Not even close.

You talked about those other 5 seeds being Mid-Major. Well, what I'd give for the Mid-Major Valley to have just 2 of those seedings outside of their 1. If Pac-12 = Mid Major, MVC = Low Major.

Mid majors in the tournament are decent teams. That is a lot of decent teams to have in the same conference. National title contenders may be limited, but quality depth is not something the PAC 12 is lacking, especially considering that the bottom half of the conference will include a couple NIT level teams. Oh what I would give for the Shox to play in a conference where the "easier" conference games were against NIT level opponents!

I took it as a comparison of ROI.

The Valley has been very competitive for many years on 1/2 to 1/3 the budget of many of the BCS programs, yet the BCS programs don't get double the production.

Can you imagine what MSU, IlSU, and Bradley could be with the budgets of Arizona State, Oregon, Washington, or Oregon State?

1. Tad Boyle's comp is shockingly low (this is an April article, he may have received a raise in the offseason)

2. HCGM would be the 3rd or 4th highest paid coach in the league at his current WSU salary, depending on how you interpret his contract. He would trail only UCLA (Alford) and Arizona (Miller).
