Way less to do with the teams they are playing and way more to do with the schedule requiring they play a game on the road. I always find it amazing when announcers talk about "this league is so tough" when ranked teams lose in the first game or two in the conference schedule. Maybe that ranked team just finally had to play a road game.

I'm looking at you, Duke. Now 0-2 on the road, 3-4 against the Top 100, and #16 in the polls. Sounds about right. Hopefully that finally changes on Monday.

I really like Coach Grant as well and to tell you the truth he just doesn't look like he's happy at Alabama. Another cautionary tale that the grass isn't always greener in the BCS pasture. I wonder if Coach Grant has advised Shaka to stay put at VCU.
