The Bells of St Mary's ring no more, they lose to S. Carolina in the Diamond Head Classic and fall from the ranks of the unbeaten. The Shox received a shout out from the announcers late in the game pertaining to our participation next year in Hawaii.

Wichita State will have the most D-1 non-conference road wins (three) in the state of Kansas. Is it funny to anyone else that the second spot goes to...Emporia State? With their win at UMKC, even Emporia State will do something this season that the self-proclaimed flagship and flagship-wannabes didn't do this year.

"Only 9" actually seems like a pretty high number this far into the season although that is more of a gut feeling than anything I can back up with stats.
