That team responded to the adversity (or whatever we spectators want to call it) with a win. They limited turnovers to 13, not great but not terrible, and it had been one of the problems. They also rebounded evenly with the other team, which shows some effort inside. None of this is spectacular, but I was just looking for a moral victory given the events of the week. The season could have gotten away from them with an immediate loss following all the attention and negativity. Yeah, Ball St is bad at 2-7 now, but SIU needed this one and they got it.
