      47-24 at half. Keep in mind SWOMO is probably a Top 5 Valley team. This helps illustrate the giant chasm between the have and the have-nots of the Valley currently.

        Top 5, they probably have a good chance to finish 2nd. Wow has the Valley fallen. I love some of the history in the Valley (players like the Big O and Larry Bird) but it is far from the Valley of Death these days. The Valley is looking more like Easy Street these days. WSU has to find a new conference.

                regrettably this is spot on. My how the mighty have fallen since my wife and I along with several thousand other Shocker boosters chanted "MVC! MVC! MVC!" in Greensboro after defeating Tennessee to go to The Sweet 16 and join the Bradley Braves, whose fans were chanting the same Valley pride. Numerous articles were written about this chant and the victims (including KU for Bradley) of the Valley. Something needs to happen.
