Speaking of DePaul, I've run into Cox Channel 2060 (the Formerly Big East carrier) on a regular basis since the start of FB season.

That channel has some really boring basketball games, including the DePaul game tonight. I imagine the Big East is getting a better viewing response on the East Coast than anywhere further than 100 miles west of the Atlantic coast.

    • There were so few in attendance at the DePaul game I thought there was a Sars alert. But hey, at least they won and our RPI climbs to 10.

        Ok, that made me laugh.

You know what's even funnier about that situation? It was still louder than a game played in front of 17,000 librarians at the CenturyLink Center.

It will be fun watching that bandwagon disintegrate over the next 3-5 years.

And that must refer to when they are still there -- before halftime, I suppose!

Don't bail on them quite yet.

I just wonder if besides MSU and ISUr if we have anyone in the conference with more upside right now than a Cleveland State, Detroit or UWM?
              Bad news for Drake.

This means some no-name freshman will go off against us for 35 points at the Knapp Center in January.

              • It will be interesting to watch the support but I think with the new conference they will be curious to see the competition. What with nebraska still not doing well it may well still be the only social event in town so interest may not fall off this year. If nebraska gets it going and the bj's don't up the talent it could be some cold winters on the frozen tundra.

                • Wow, big loss for Drake, many feels out to them. We all know how that goes with Baker, last year.

I believe they also have a couple of guys that become eligible at semester (very soon). Hopefully they can help offset the loss of Ricks.

Ouch, but lucky for them it happened in game 8 as game 9 is the cutoff for a lot of teams for medical hardships.
