Unfortunately that will be after they have damaged the non-conference season.

Looks like we are heading for 9-5 on the day.

Still can't believe SIU but other than that, it was a good day. Would have liked to see Tulsa get on track though.

I know a lot of us were surprised and/or disappointed with the addition of Loyola over several other schools.

I wonder what the reaction would have been had they added Murray St and what that reaction would now be today.

After tonight, they are 0-5 against D-I teams with an 89-64 loss to St. Mary's. Rpiforecast.com has them projected for a losing record (11-15) this year which would be their first in at least 13 years. That includes a projection of 9-7 in the OVC.

Anyone would have been better than Loyola and their 351 (dead last) projected OoC SoS. We should cut back to 9 teams until they stop with that crap. Jank wasn't even half that bad (and now it's Moser, I'm noticing a pattern.)

Not at all saying I still wouldn't have preferred Murray St. It would have just been quite a let down.

No doubt, Loyola is a real drag on the Valley's OOC SoS and overall RPI. Very disappointing.

Independence, Missouri is the "Mecca" of the LDS church. Outside of Salt Lake, KC metro has the largest Mormon membership in the US (maybe the world). Not sure how that impacts the rest of Kansas, but I work with several Mormon's in McPherson, KS, so I'd say there is a reasonable religious base to build on.

The Church grows and becomes more mainstream, but it is still considered a cult, is it not?

It is not a cult. There is no attempt to alienate you from your possessions or your family. BTW, I have no love for the Mormon religion and I do not believe it is a Christian religion, but I wouldn't call it a cult by any stretch. There are several "Christian" denominations that are much more cult like.

Christianity was a cult once, but do we need to talk about religion in a basketball forum? The significance of the post about byutv is about the demographics and fan support, not about whether a religious affilliation is a cult or not.
