I read it. It's easier to post from my iPad when I quote.

You might be right but I think the fact that the top ESPN draft guy answered "Ron Baker" when asked about the biggest sleeper in THIS YEAR'S draft removes this topic from any "Top 10 Dumbest" lists.

        Give it a break.

I hope to all Heavens he doesn't read this ****.

"Nov 27 Update: Who's the biggest sleeper in this year's draft? Myself and a lot of NBA scouts are very high on Wichita State's Ron Baker. He's sitting in the 40s on our Big Board right now, but the more I watch him play and the more I talk with scouts, I think he ends up as a potential first rounder -- especially if scouts are convinced he can play the point in the NBA.

Seems like it might place his post in a few Top 10 Dumbest categories, however.

SR was a smart and likeable poster about a decade ago. He's spent most of the last half dozen years being a condescending prack who rarely backs up his attacks with logic or facts, except when he deigns to explain an officiating call every six months or so (but only after calling a poster or two retarded for bitching about said call in the process).

Also, he's probably the last guy on earth who should use General Patton for his signature. I can only imagine what Old Blood and Guts would think of a guy who uses his "prestige" as a LOLREFEREE on a message board as if it commands undying respect, automatic deference, and humble gratitude for the immense knowledge imparted in every post. Just because he is SR's hero doesn't mean his weird imitation isn't completely laughable.

Fear not, SR -- as I said before, if by chance he actually does see it, you can be pretty confident he's rolling his eyes in amazement even more than you are. You may calm down now.

I like Baker... alot... But he is not an NBA talent at this point let alone a lottery pick. He is scoring less than 15 a game and his defense and size while passable in the college ranks would be exploited in the pro ranks.

Let's not forget that Ron is averaging 0.4 points less than the projected #1, on much better efficiency. And he's averaging way more points than a guy like Joel Embiid, but Embiid is still a potential top 4 pick. As far as defensive and size go, he's has prototypical NBA PG height and hasn't shown faults yet.

Lol because we are all NBA scouts and know more about what it takes than they do.

When you are ranked #40 on Chad Ford's big board you are an NBA talent.

What made a top 10 list was the amount of ownage in quoting ESPN's top draft guy against SR's condescension and "eyeball test." One could add HCGM as another person who is aware NBA scouts are very interested in Baker.

I'm as surprised about this topic as much as i am surprised about Chad Ford's big board. Two comments on this topic: 1) the shox have come a long, the higher ranked teams always get more attention, and 2) it's about time we start talking about shockers in the NBA. No shame in that.

Actually - he is #40 on the board (out of 100). I couldn't find Cleanthony on the list.

Marshall just said Baker is an NBA prospect. I can't imagine ShockRef is too happy with that.
