I questioned myself on this angle first. So I looked at Hinrich's stats and what Baker brings. I looked at Gary Payton, but that dude was so off the charts on the defensive end, and probably offensively more challenged that RB could grow into. Hinrich's leadership, game changing toughness and calmness led me to that comparison. Also, there is nothing sneaky about either of these two men's athleticism.

Will not disagree on Nate McMillan, but Hinrich did play off guard, averaged 4 rebounds, .5 blocked shots and 1.5 steals per game for his career. At 6-4 he always seemed to get the big rebound.

Korver? Dang. I'm sorry. But I see that comparison at the very least.

Also, Bird is 6'9''. No way Baker does what he did. But I am becoming more and more of a believer in his upside. The title of this thread in years past would be laughable for any WSU sophomore guard. But I don't think it's a stretch to see him at the next level.

Sounds like a good comparison to me.

Jason Kidd. A guard who does a bit of everything.

But he does know how to "accidentally" drop a drink when needed.

                      That was hilarious.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Sounded like some coaches and some observers were kind of impressed by the creativeness. The league had to step in with the big fine so to put a stop to it.

Usually an expensive glass with liquid in it is part of a very old vintage wine found in a wine cellar somewhere, but Kidd will not soon forget about this expensive drink.

I have always thought that Ron Baker style and level of play compares more to Jason Perez.

Good comparison. He is quicker than Perez though.

Baker's future is wide open and he will succeed at whatever he does.

He is exciting to watch and there is no question in my mind that he will definitely play in the NBA. And do very, very well.
