  • Does Mr. Baker go NBA after his Soph. Season?

First off....I don't think he has the type of personality that the big-money would sway him away after this season....BUT....should he be predicted to be a First Round Draft choice by the end of this year....does he go? Or does he stay???

No.... Too many one and dones that will be lottery picks. You don't go early unless there is guaranteed money. Now if we play in a National Championship game, then my assessment could change...

Two different questions are being asked. In my opinion they both have the same answer.

      1) We he go after this year? Not unless we win a National Championship.

      2) Will he be a candidate first round draft pick this year? Not unless we win a National Championship.

We want 3, but if gets pegged as a lottery pick he will want 3 - as in $3 million....

I'd say .01% after his sophomore season. After his junior season I would expect that number to go up considerably, still under 50% though.

No doubt, but he needs to make sure he is lottery pick and get the guaranteed lottery money...

Considering who all is in this year's freshman class, plus Marcus Smart, plus the foreign guys that always materialize on draft night, I'm wondering why you pegged this year's probability so high, AndShock.

I inferred they meant 1st round pick after his senior year but it was not clear.

The only way he'd take the NBA route after his Sophomore year would be if he already graduated.

It's all a moot point because I heard through the grapevine by a Missouri State fan that Baker can't create his own shot.

                            Personally knowing him,

He's not after the money. He won't leave if we win a National Championship. He is so humble and loves everything about it here. He is in no hurry.
