The officials were way over matched this game.

This event has fallen wayyyyy off, they can't even get top-tier midwest officials to officiate it anymore. No Gerry Pollard, no Mark Whitehead (maui), no John Higgins, no Mike Stuart (not surprising though), the only one we had was Paul Janssen (karate kick paul) and that was yesterday and he did in excellent job.

Besides officiating, what can you say about this team? Fred has onions of size that would win state fairs throughout the midwest.

Ron is a best.

The only thing is rebounding, and Cleanthony needs to play on balance with the proper pace. He's playing too fast and rushing his perimeter shots. When he grabbed that alley-oop and came down he immediately spun it up, with patience it's possible he could have gotten an and-1 opportunity. Who knows.


Darius carter got the ball at the end of the shot clock after a busted play. Not what you'd want , but way to step up big fella!

Isn't it amazing when the Head Coach's family is the teams most vocal supporter? Pure awesomeness by the Marshall family. This team is clearly more than just a "father/husband profession" to that family it means something more to them.

SLU will be a tough one...only lost by 6 at Wisky. Bring it on.

THE ABSOLUTLY WORST OFFICIATED GAME I HAVE WITTNESSED IN A LONG LOOOOONG TIME !!! the whole thing got way too outa control because the ref's were so damn inconsistent and flat out BLIND to the game in front of them that I am surprised it did not get several players INJURED

Fred certainly had a case but the real stinker was Tekele getting snubbed......again. He shut down Hawes in the first half and Carlino in the second. Any loose ball in his vicintiy he gets and he provided enough offense to keep defenses guessing. He rebounds, defends, takes care of the ball and could care less about anything but getting W's.

The BYU fans in the section over from me were pretty cool. Large Mormon presence and history in Independence, Missouri so it makes sense they would have a good turnout.
